Sorry for not intervening sooner: I am still researching page layout
changes that are not fully accounted for. Most may be fixing problems, but
there is one situation that is clearly a regression. So I am putting this
to "Needs work" right now. I am also still tuning spacing semantics. I
might take the already gained "Patch-push" status as an excuse to push
uncontentious parts of this issue early, though.
