Just to be clear, you've tried File -> New -> Score Wizard?  This sounds
close to what you want.  You would still need to do some fooling around to
get a barbershop quartet exactly right, but it would get you close.

I'm unclear as to how you would want this to work.  Would it create a
template for you?
