Terry – I second Sally’s post. This is an excellent presentation for those of
us who have only marginally adequate knowledge of the abundant wildlife we live
with. Thank you.

There is not much we can/should do about coyotes, in my experience living
around here for the last many decades, with two exceptions: 1) if they are
behaving in an aggressive manner and don't seem to be afraid of humans; and 2)
if they appear rabid (walking unsteadily, aggressive, sometimes foaming at
mouth). The two situations are slightly different from each other. In either
case, I would call animal control.

Arlington recently hosted a talk about their Coyote problem and ways that
homeowners can (and can't) deal with it. I found it helpful:

Unfortunately it's via FB, but I'll look to see if it's available in another
format. The talk starts around 6 minutes in, so you'll most likely want to
fast forward to that point!

Warm regards,

Terry Kay

What neighborhood/address?????

Btw-it is the urban/wildlife interface.
We moved into their turf.
They are learning to live with us and to thrive.

Welcome to the country.

Thanks for the heads up-stay safe.
