Yes, the Flash problem was one of many that happened when the actual app tried to init from inside the bundle-- it did not like... Once I moved it back outside the bundle, it was fine again.
Also yes, all the Xtras were there at the proper level in the Xtras folder (same locations as stubs), and there was one in each of the MacOS directories (X and classic).

From what I read in the technote, I needed to create a Shockwave runtime as
a regular projector would not start up properly. The weird part is that IT WAS WORKING and now it's NOT... :( I know, famous last developer's words.

The issue: Using the same playback optons and the same director file, the newly compiled runtimes are producing the error.

I had to step away for a few hours, but will continue 'pounding' on this. Any other insights or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks again!

Best regards,

It may be moot, at this point, but it sounds like all your problems, from
the Flash Component Xtra to these, have to do with xtras that are "missing".
Do you have an xtras folder for the OS 9 app and another xtras folder for
the OS X app? Are they in the same directory as their respective projectors?

This sounds like you may have elected the "Shockwave" player option when
compiling your projector? Or, try various combinations of Media Compressed
or Compressed player option. For CD-ROM, I prefer "Standard" Player and not
enabling compressed media. The decompression adds time (although the amount
varies), and this assumes you have room on your CD for a full projector.
