We have repeatedly stated that we're willing to work with folks on a
case-by-case basis to see about alternate install experiences for
specific clients and projects. We've done this repeatedly
throughout the
years (yes, as far back as SW7!) and as Emmy & I have often stated
since
the Y! toolbar introduction, and I'm stating now, you can contact
us to
discuss what options might be made available. Do understand that for a
fully silent installer it will likely not be free ($$$) nor be
necessarily easy, but if the install procedure becomes an issue you
should most definitely contact us ([EMAIL PROTECTED] - drop me a
line).
I apologize for the the confusion caused by my lack of knowledge.
I didn't know about that option or can't remember having read about
that.
these URLs where people can install the SW player silently are kept
secret I guess ?
I still think macromedia should better decide, if they want to make
the profit on the player or the authoring environment. charging on
both sides of the fence seems silly to me.
