Mmmm, yes, you're defintely going to be seeing hitchiness there I 
think. If there is a way to both preload the stuff you're animating, 
*and* set it to unload 'last' (by default items unload when Director 
thinks it's done with them, but this is not always optimal), you 
might improve performace some. But rotating a 300K image with scaling 
and ink effects is gonna lag even when you have *one* sprite doing 
it, in some cases. :(
