actually, irv, you can pick up the mouse with the button down,
reposition it, and keep dragging with the button down.
there are two little button type things on the side of the mouse. one
under your thumb and one under your ring finger. they hardly press in,
and it seems like they do nothing, but hold those in and you can pick up
the mouse and replace it, and the button stays registered as down.
