thanks alot for all of the help.

I want to create a sprite which will response (more or less like html image
map).

I'm new to Director and also just stared Photoshop. my company provide it
for me to learn.

Could you tell me how to create an alpha chanel in Photoshop please????

actually my project is like "a road map" where users can put the mouse over
a certain area and then they will get an information related to the area
where they put the cursor.
