If it needs to be more of a jigsaw puzzle shape you could try doing the same thing with vectors instead of plain rectangles.

That's really more of a PhotoShop issue than a Director one. If you got PS7, you should have also been given a CD containing instructional materials; consult that or the PS manual for information on this topic.Could you tell me how to create an alpha chanel in Photoshop please????
