btw - Colin's answer was exactly the same as mine, just from another approach. The context menu item just calls the menu item Edit > Find > Selection (for which he described the shortcut keys).
note: Find Selection (ctl/cmd-H) is also used within script windows to find each next occurrence of variable names -
After hilighting some text, the shortcut (or Edit menu item) will jump the hilight to the next place that string occurs.
