Thanks, Bhakti. The shape cast member is still resisting all efforts to
edit it--double-click, command-7, ctrl-7 all fail to open a window where I
can edit the shape cast member. The best I can do is bring up the property
inspector and change some properties there, like the rect.
I am changing the length, location, and thickness (and now color) of the
line with sprite properties in Lingo. I can create a new shape with the
palette. But there seems to be no way of changing the color of a shape cast
member.
