I'm not sure what you're referring to--I use D8 on Windows and Mac, and I
can bring the message window to the front with ctrl/cmd-m, even when the
movie is running. I haven't had these focus problems, but I'd be interested
to hear more about your experience.

Again, I'm not sure what bugs you mean. D8, in my experience, is a pretty
stable development environment. Are you experiencing actual bugs, or
venting about D8's idiosyncrasies?
Venting is fine--I'm not challenging you :-) Just curious if you've found
things I haven't.
