Perhaps this is the confusion.  This is a kid's game based soley on 
the screen.  There no musical keyboard instruments here.  I am not 
"recording" something that is played on an instrument.  As the user 
clicks on what notes they want to play, I am building up a song on 
the fly, then I need to be able to play that song back.
