Depends on your machine specs. Generally, I like Sorensen--it gives really good quality, even at 640 x 480 or 800 x 600, but it is fairly CPU intensive. My second choice would be MPEG, but QT 4 only supports MPEG on the Mac. If you're willing to ask the user to upgrade to QT5, then you will have MPEG support on Windows.
