Combine that with Find&Replacing all your Puppetsound commands to a custom
handler, which after checking for a soundcard, would in turn launch the
puppetsound command... something like:
-- in behavior
on MouseDown
pupSound 1, "downSound"
end
-- in global movie script
on pupSound channel, soundMemberName
global gSoundCardExists
if gSoundCardExists = TRUE then
puppetsound channel, soundMemberName
end if
end
