im gonna try to have the bitmaps in a masked MIAW on top of the video, could
that be a problem further on perhaps ???

Very interesting Colin,
but I guess that won't work for moving bitmaps over the QT unless you
stay inside the mask.
Have you tried assigning different masks following each other very fast
(move the mask and the bitmap with it). But I guess that assigning the
mask makes the movie halt for a moment???
