Problem solved! When my brain had cooled down a bit I realized the topic was perhaps too off-topic to expect an answer on Lingo-L. Sorry about that. I seeped through Direct-L:s archives without finding anything on this. Maybe I looked in the wrong places. However, I solved the issue, and since many of you might encounter the same problem I decided to write again. This is it:
Shockwave Audio or mp3 wont play in my 8.5 projectors without the NetFile (PPC) Xtra. None of the other Net-Xtras are needed (for me, that is, but my swa is in the same folder as my projector...) and the help files do not mention this (or do they?).
