Hi Michael.

I don't think you can change a sprite on another frame... However, what
you may be able to do is to have a dummy member and change the member
from a previous frame... Or you can try to position the alternate qt
off-stage an on the beginSprite handler reposition it where you want it
to go. It may make the flickering go away...

Hi!

Maybe the answer to my question is a straight and simple "no", but I
will
post it anyway:

Is it possible to change the member of a sprite with the playback head
not
being on the corresponding frame?

For example: Suppose the playback head is in frame 5 and you wanted to
program this:

sprite(1 of frame 10).member = "x".

Here's why I would like to be able to do this:

I want to change the cast member of a Quicktime sprite before I enter
that
sprite, because if I change it in an on beginSprite handler, the change
causes a flickering.
