Well we're in the absurd situation where every RSP recommends a different modem/router. Some even lock you in (Telstra) by refusing to share the SIP security credentials if you want to use their VOIP service. If you change reseller you might have to change your modem/router. Many of them are not really going to care much about Australian standard ring tones etc.
