I discovered an interesting book recently, by Aian Campbell. I'd never heard of him, and Google hasn't either. The book is "Reliable Linux." I already knoew that Linux does drive mirroring. I discovered the disk drives can be on opposite sides of the world if you like, so long as you have the network capacity. Doubtless Alan C already knows this, but I didn't and I suppose a few others don't either. -- Cheers John Summerfield Microsoft's most solid OS: http://www.geocities.com/rcwoolley/ Note: mail delivered to me is deemed to be intended for me, for my disposition. ============================== If you don't like being told you're wrong, be right!
