I discovered an interesting book recently, by Aian Campbell. I'd never heard of him, 
and Google hasn't either.

The book is "Reliable Linux." I already knoew that Linux does drive mirroring. I 
discovered the disk drives can be on opposite sides of the world if you like, so long 
as you have the network capacity.

Doubtless Alan C already knows this, but I didn't and I suppose a few others don't 
either.
