What is the best way to avoid tromping on your Linux 3390 disks by OS/390 ickdsf etc.
I'm assuming I can't use HCD to isolate these disks to the VM and/or Linux LPARs....since I want to use either DFDSS or OFFLINDR to back them up. These volumes are OFFLINE to OS/390 most of the time and could be mistakenly selected as new empty disk packs by fellow sysprogs.... Besides good doc...is there a way to protect these disks?
