Nilson, I'm concerned about exactly what version of the kernel you have. First, there is no Red Hat 8.0 for S/390. That version is 7.2. The latest kernel level at ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/7.2/en/os/s390/images/ is 2.4.9-37, not 2.4.7-37. The latest kernel level in the updates directory is 2.4.9-38. IBM has OCO modules for those levels on their web site. If you use one of those kernel levels, though, they already have LCS support compiled in, so you won't need anything from IBM.
