The iNotes client really is not up to it. I suppose the real test as to
its adequacy, and as to whether Lotus themselves thought it adequate, would
be to propose the abandoning of the Windows Notes client in favour of the
iNotes client.
It is possible that the 6.5 client runs, but the installer does not so in a
totally Windows free environment it is kind of hard to find out. Perhaps
what is needed is a ZIPed fresh install to be added to the Lotus web site.

I have been told that 6.5 works under the current WINE level.

The strategy for Notes clients on Linux is to use iNotes on Mozilla
which is fully supported. We would all like a native Notes client on
Linux, but I can't speak to any plans for such.
