We have completed the SuSE 8 installation on an LPAR. But we are not able to IPL. It goes into wait status. Looks like the bootstrap is missing. We allocated 16 x 3390 volumes (0x2300 to 0x230F) and the fitst one contains the boot partition.
When IPLing, we specify 0x2300 as the boot device and no load params. What we get is the message: An error was detected in partition LINUX. Central Processing (CP) 00 is in a disabled wait state. The disabled wait PSW is 000A00000000000F. Central storage bytes 0 - 7 are: 000A00000000000F. Anyone encountered this before? We tried to reinstall and in yast took the "Boot from ..." option, which complained about something not mounted and killed my SSH session.
