Thank you for your response. I found what I was looking for in Device Drivers and Installation Commands book. It works. I agree it is a little clunky, especially when needing multiple tapes....
I did notice that I had to "mknod /dev/ntibm0 c 254 0", "mknod /dev/rtibm0 c 254 0" and "mknod /dev/btibm0 b 254 0" to get the examples to work.
