I *did* ask for volunteers before Xmas ...8-) If you already have the prereqs, it's pretty slick. The one difficult part for someone doing this from scratch on VM would be building the DFSMS/VM configuration without ISPF (one of those things that IBM doesn't have a formal offering for on IFLs). The workaround is to find a friendly z/OS person and have them generate the policy definition files for your (the HSM config files are compatible between the two releases). It also may generate enough sales numbers for TSM/VM to catch the attention of the Tivoli execs. Somehow, it seems a day to dream the impossible...8-( -- db
