Weellllll okay, if everything you want to do is in 3270-land then I
understand that.  But not everything is in 3270-land.

Maybe you've misunderstood me: I don't want to replace TN3270.  I'd like a
secure way to provide the services that I currently use the REXECD service
machine for.  Likewise, the ability to connect from a CMS logon to a Linux
machine using the same method I use to go Linux-to-Linux.

I would not envisage using SSH in preference to a 3270 interface for
normal CMS work!  Your suggestions to 'harden' z/VM's TN3270 server are
great, and I vote for that also, but I need a little more than that ;-)
