Nay, two very different anime...8-) Bog is from early Slavic legend (cf 'bogatyri' (godling lords) and the derivation of the words for "king" and "god" in the various Russian dialects). If you want, we can do the linguistics offline. There are some very interesting folklore-related connections vis a vis the early Scandinavian pantheons, and the later High Russian divine right claims. The Church of "Bob" started as a joke, and has taken on a life of it's own.
