While I'm all for choice, I'm leery of putting links on the page that might send people off into a dead-end effort. Hence, I wanted to hear from other people what they think. If most people think they're worthwhile, I'm happy to do it. If a significant number of people think it's largely untested and risky, I might not. Or, I might just put warning signs around the ones that are questionable.
How about if you'd only list the distributions where we have a report from someone who got it to work. We both know that the best way to decide is to try it yourself, but that's not always an option. But the trusted person who installed it should at least not be the one who provides the distribution. And it would be very nice if there would be a few pages written down report of the test drive so that folks can decide what would be their best choice.
