Uh, what?

There's no reason your Linux guests, connected via VSWITCH, can't run
zebra or quagga and participate in OSPF routing updates.  Depending on
the number of guests, it might make more sense, at that point, to throw
a router machine or two in front of them, so you only had to run a
routing protocol on a couple of Linux instances rather than each guest.
(thus, your routing machines would have at least two interfaces each:
one VSWITCH and one statically-routed virtual LAN, and they'd
redistribute their static routes via OSPF)  But it's your call.
