I would like to separate the different NEEDs so that someone might make
progress on some part of this.

Yes, our cybersecurity folks can only say SSH when they mean encrypted
terminal traffic, but I can get around that. For INBOUND communications, SSL
encrypted TN3270 would meet their requirements (yes, I am trying to get
SSLSERV to work). For INBOUND file transfer, if an SSLSERV protected FTP
server was useable by a Linux SFTP or Windows PSFTP, then SSLSERV satisfies
our INBOUND security needs.

Now for OUTBOUND, I need an SCP command I can use inside REXX EXECs as part
of my system/application automation that will properly move files to an SSH
daemom running on Linux/Aix/SUN/Windows(Cygwin). The data should be
transferred as BINARY. Leave the responsibility of proper translation to ME
as the automater.

As the VM community of Linux systems grows, there may be an increased need
for a CMS command (like TELNET or RXVT100) that will communicate with an SSH
daemom running on Linux/Aix/SUN/Windows(Cygwin) for terminal access to that
other host. I think dumb terminal linemode access would be a good start,
progressing to basic vt100 full-screen operation.

But we don't need it all at once.
