Linux assumes that the TOD is GMT/CUT, but you have your machine's TOD set
to local time.  You will have to adjust Linux's timezone to account for
the difference.

It is far better to have the machine TOD set to GMT and use the standard
timezone offsets in each of your operating systems.  There may be cases
where the host must generate GMT.  If you lie to the host about the TOD,
it will not be able to compute GMT correctly, inserting your local time
instead.
