Normally, this means that there was some sort of problem that prevented the installer from retrieving the additional files it needs to start the install. This could be due to a lot of things: - NIC not configured correctly - Firewalls in between you and the install server - Incorrect specification of the FTP directory - ??? Way too many things can go wrong. If you're sure you're actually getting to the install server, I would recommend either turning on verbose logging on your FTP server, or switch to HTTP, so that you can look at the logs and see what's going on there.
