I could see , the NICDEF , #cp def nic 0700 type qdio
the Vswitch , #cp def vswitch vswitche type ether
Give me details if the vswitche is been granted acc to the VMguests you
are using and assigned a controller
#cp q vswitch vswitche acc
will give you the details.

We have been trying to configure Layer2 and Layer3 OSA on Linux on VM
guest.
To start with I defined 2 VSWITCH'es one for Layer2 and one for Layer3.
Each switch has a unique OSA defined.
I also defined a 2 NICDEF's which correspond to the VSWITCH'es.
Layer3 is doing fine. We are unable to bring the Layer 2 interface up. I
followed the instructions from the manual

to add a qeth device. I am unable to bring the device online(returns 0)
