We have LTSP installed here, but I wasn't involved in setting it up. Some folks from Lillecorp did it while they were here. The idea was to use it for booting desktop boxes whose hard drive was on the fritz; I haven't tried booting another guest image from it.
Jon <snip> How about inside the box? What about LTSP running on the mainframe and have other Linux 4 VM users boot via pxe and hypersockets from the LTSP.
