With a layer 2 VSWITCH, there's nothing to stop a guest from performing a
network-style boot from any internal or external server, PXE or otherwise.

Of course, you have to have an IPLable PXE/other client stored on the host
since on a PC that's typically built into the BIOS "boot from NIC"
support.
