The mechanism for "IPL from DVD" is that the file *.ins is used. The lines in this file specify which objects must be loaded where in the LPAR memory. So if you put your 3 files on a CD with a suse.ins file, you should be able to get the LPAR to IPL. The starter system will not be able to see the CD in the HMC - you would need to get the files over the network (dunno if you can run an FTP server on the HMC). Since you need to do a network install, the IP configuration of your new LPAR must be working (either proper IP address configured on the CD or use DHCP during the install).
