I looked at the /var/log/YaST2/y2log file as requested and I saw this
information.  Which would indicate to me that the problem is with
Novell.  Am I correct?  

Also at the end, there are three messages saying there are "No valid
shortcuts for pushbuttons" - It doesn't seem to be causing a problem,
but I thought it was strange.

Try looking in /var/log/YaST2/y2log (or whatever is the most recently
updated file in there) and see if you can find any clues.
