We used a product that is z/OS based to move the disk. The product is called
TDMF (from IBM). We would shut down the Linux guests and z/VM to move the
disk. Before the move we updated the z/VM system config for any address
changes. After the move we restarted everything and nobody complained.

Subject: Z/Linux CKD DASD migration from one DASD Subsystem to another
Importance: High

Hi all,
I would like to know what ways you have used to migrate z/Linux CKD DASD
volumes from one DASD subsystem to another? Thanks.
