David, When Management will let you play with a linux POC type of thing, but will *not* fund z/VM, regardless of the advantages of having it.
Maybe if/when we put Linux on z-Series into production I can get them to fund z/VM. It has been discussed. The advantages and benefits have been explained. But it won't be anytime soon.
