Hi, Mark.
The normal 14 point 3270 font has the characters on the screen looking a
bit jagged (or maybe it's just my eyes....). A little more on my setup
here: the laptop screen is running at 1024x768, and I have an external
monitor attached running at 1440x900. The graphical desktop is Gnome.
When I attempt to select a 20 point font in x3270, I get an error
message from Xwindows "the window does not fit on the Xdisplay". I
should also mention that I have configured my X3270 session to be a
model 4: 43x80. Maybe I'll try using a model 3 and see what that looks like.
Thanks and have a good weekend.

I'd
like to know what other folks are using for the fixed width fonts....I'm
not all that happy with the default set of 3270 fonts X3270 comes with.
What are some good replacements?
I use the 20-point font that comes with x3270. That looks fine to me. What
don't you like?
