I understood from the support people that there was no real hope to have a
fix for that soon because of no L3 support. I had the impression that those
things won't get any priority.

Since I don't know the reason of the problem regarding the dm driver, it is
qute difficult for me to plan further actions with regard of SLES 11. Is it
a configration problem that can simply be solved by setting a paraemter or
is it a problem in the kernel or in the driver, which I guess will take a
while to fix that?

Having an idea about the reason would help me in the planning how to proceed
with further testing. The SRs are not closed yet, so I hope to receive more
information soon.
