Thanks for the explanations.

Only for explanation: with "dm dirver" I meant the problem with the Logical
Volume since it destroys the file systems on the LV. In our installation we
have quite a lot of LVs as the capacity of 3390-25 are not really
satisfactory for today's applications. Having a bug in the I/O processing
blocks the migration from SLES 10 to SLES 11.
