Generally, that's true. There is some room for discretion, however, if the
problem is one that Novell Technical Services or the Open Platform Solutions
business unit deems to be important enough to fix. Ihno Krumreich and I think
these two are.

I'm not sure what you mean by "dm driver." If you mean the error you're
getting when trying to specify read-only DASD, it's a bug in the script. The
person that wrote it expected an eval command to work, without understanding
all the values that might get passed to it:
eval 'cmd_dasd=200,201-20F(ro),210-21F,240-24F,400-401'
eval: line 12: syntax error near unexpected token `('
eval: line 12: `cmd_dasd=200,201-20F(ro),210-21F,240-24F,400-401'
