Sometimes it's not that simple!  We have lots of homemade java applications
that run on SLES 10 SP2 and they don't require SLES10 or SLES11 but the
programmers may prefer to have Java 1.6 rather 1.5.  However, for us to move
to SLES11, it would mean buying another processor since SLES11 doesn't run
on older zSeries processors like z800.
