I include here by reference, all of my previous posts on the subject of "support". When an OS isn't supported, it means that (a) it failed during testing, or (b) it wasn't tested. In either case, you are exposed to risk. Time to tighten up your OS lifecycle management process. Having current maintenance and support is an important element of high availability.
