It sounds like his problems may be purely IDE. Then again, there may
be more than one issue. Since he looks to be using the latest IDE
patch, he should post the exact error message(s) and maybe Andre will
have a thought. But I think there is an X element as well -- at least
for many of us. But is it software or is it hardware? $64K question.
