Well, I'll try one.
I have had 2 lockups while doing the same thing twice. It was never
the case before. Of course, this situation is probably not the uniq
one to produce lockups, but if it can helps some to debug the problem.
I have an SCSI card (2940) and use cdrdao to duplicate Audio CDs.
Last night the program didn't end and I tried to remove the modules manually
in order to reinstall them after and reinitiate the card.
I did rmmod aic7xxx. Ok
I did rmmod sg. Then the system froze quite immediately. Only a reboot could
solve the problem.
Today same problem, same try, and same lockup.
Could some of you try it to see if it's reproduceable on other configurations too ?
I hope it will give some hints,
