Hey guys, it's not THAT hard :) I think the documentation is lacking in
many places, because the install documentation is not updated with the same
frequency as the underlying source tree.
I too had problems getting a good toolchain working, but now I have
successfully built it for use under Cygwin. (Actually building the ARM
toolchain under Linux is much easier, but not convenient for me). The only
thing I do not have working is insight (Red Hat's graphical frontend to
gdb) but that is OK, I am fine with using gdb in console mode.
