No, its not a LILO problem. Its the NT bootloader filling your screen with
0's and 1's. Guess the screen is blue too ;-).
Anyway, the solution. Install LILO on the first sector of your Linux
partition/disk, and read the WindowsNT-LILO mini howto in
/usr/doc/HOWTO/mini to be able to boot Linux from your winduhs boot menu.

AFAIK, this problem will never get fixed in PCs. And thats because its
not a software problem, its a BIOS limitation.
